サイモン&ガーファンクルによってアレンジされ、世界的に大ヒットした曲。
戦で命を落とした若者が、旅人に、「スカボローには帰るかい？」
と囁き、故郷に残した恋人に伝えて欲しいと不思議な話をします。
パセリ、セージ、ローズマリー、タイム・・この４つのハーブを唱えると、
黄泉の国へ迷い込まないためのおまじない・・。
物語のように日本語の歌詞を書いて、歌っています。
そして、ベーゼンドルファーインペリアルだけが出せる低音。
ピアノ左側の鍵盤は黒くなっています。これはインペリアルだけが持つ鍵盤です。
